Why do some armors just not show up well in guild wars? I have my settings on high, I zoom in and some armors still look blurry.



As you can see in the second picture, my armor (the warrior) is quite crisp, while the ele beside me is blurry.

in Towns/outposts other players armour is set to a lower quality , this is probably to help people with lower spec systems and to reduce lag.

All other players have lower res armours in outposts. Only your own will be sharp. Your team will have equal res armour as soon as you enter an instanced area.

Edit: lol, concurrent posting.

P.S. You armours and others will also look better if you turn on anti aliasing.

There is a mod in community works which removes the limitation of other people's armour. Doesn't cause lag or any performance hit unless you play with a low-end rig.

If you want everyone's armor in town or outpost to be as crisp as yours there is a mod for that.... it is located here

Looks cool! But if its simple enough to not slow down the gameplay, why doesnt ANet use it or something similar?
